Fly rod and Angler II reel – Basic beginner package retails $79 for an 8 ft, 5wt.

Mine is red but apparently they’ve changed the color. Love this setup and it was great to learn to use…and the LLBean warranty has saved me twice. Worth the little extra for piece of mind.

 

Kennebec Waders – retail $249
I got them in a women’s petite so they’re short but roomy enough for my butt and thighs. Comfy as can be and durable. Only downfall is the belt is not attached anywhere and it can easily fall off so you need to be mindful when gearing up.

 

 

 

Korkers boots – retail $159 – interchangeable soles. I love the Svelt II soles for river fishing ($60). I have to buy them directly from Korkers, since they don’t come with the soles included in the package. I also have felt soles ($30) that work great.

 

 

These are my LLBean Maine Hunting boots…Retail $159-$219. I wear them with just a sock and my feet are always dry and warm. These have the thinsulate liner. They’ve been moose and deer hunting and they’re not even my standard LLB boot I normally use for sitting long period in the cold.
